A full-body Ayurvedic ritual where warm, herbal-infused oils are rhythmically massaged into the skin using flowing, synchronized strokes. Each movement is designed to awaken circulation, nourish the tissues (dhatus), and calm the nervous system.

Abhyanga is deeply grounding and balancing for Vata dosha, easing dryness, anxiety, and fatigue.
It promotes radiant skin, a peaceful mind, and a renewed connection between body and spirit.

Abhyanga is a traditional full-body massage in Ayurveda, where warm herbalized oils (chosen according to one’s dosha and season) are applied from head to toe using rhythmic, synchronized strokes.
It may be part of a larger detoxification program (such as Panchakarma) or offered as a stand-alone wellness therapy.

What happens in a session

After a brief consultation (to assess dosha, current state), oils are warmed and applied.
Massage strokes from head → feet (often including face, scalp, neck) following.
Often followed by a warm bath or steam to enhance absorption. (In many places, Abhyanga + Swedana are paired).
You leave feeling deeply relaxed, skin soft, body lighter.
